i was watching late night infomercials and i was wondering is this free money government grant this for real? I actually am thinking about starting a small business and would like to get free money rather than a loan. So if there is a good way to get some grant money i would like to know if there was a scam free way and weather or not there is anyone who’s tried it.

Stay away from the ones advertised on TV, and go straight to the government! Even the sites that end in ".org" may be scams. I think the ones that end in ".gov" are authentic, but make sure you do your own research.

Various government agencies have budgets for grants. It depends on what you are doing. So the department of energy has grants, go to the site, track down the grants or call to find out where to apply, then see if you qualify, it will take sometime to do this but as you said free money. Free money will need more work then a loan. So if you are willing to do the work you can get a grant.
